Women's B Grade

In response to a number of requests race organisers have decided to include a Women's B Grade in the 2008 Tour. Women's B will race with the Open and Under 19 Women's race but will have their own category, be awarded separate results within the category and will race for prize money and a winner's jersey. There will not be a Queen of the Mountain competition for this grade. Provided sufficient entries are received, prize money will be at the same level as the JW17 category.

Open or Under 19 Women who wish to enter the B Grade race should email race organisers advising of this preference at time of entry.  By default, unless contrary advice is received, entries received will be treated as entering the Open and Under 19 Women's grade. Riders entering Women's B Grade are ineligible to receive Open and Under 19 Women prize money regardless of their finishing position in a stage or race.

License Requirements

The Tour is only open to CA members, if you wish to ride the tour you should first join a Cycling Club and obtain a CA licence.

International Riders - Postal Entries

International riders who are licenced through their national governing body are eligible to ride. All riders are able to enter through the online system with an appropriate credit card. Riders who are unable to enter online should download the hard copy entry form and submit a postal entry with accompanying payment in Australian dollars. Please note that postal entries are accepted but they attract a higher entry fee.

Late Entries

*Note: Entries will officially close on 22 June 2008.
You will still be able to enter after this date but a $40 late entry fee will apply.
